At the 6th Annual Spectacular Spectacular Band Competition held at Gibraltar Carlson's Marauder Stadium, Brandon High School's marching band took 1st place honors. The band also won "Best Music" and "Best Color Guard" awards.

They will compete again this Saturday in Lapeer (performance is at 12:30 pm) and at their own annual home band competition on October 21st (performance is at 3:15 pm). Way to go, Blackhawks!
