MOUNTAIN BIKING CLUB AT BRANDON The Brandon Schools Mountain Bike team will be finishing up their first season this Sunday at the Misca State Championship race at Bloomer Park in Rochester. The first season has been a learning year but also a successful one. We have kids racing from 4th grade up to 12th this year. All the kids have put in lots of miles and have had a lot of fun along the way. We want to continue and grow the team again next year and will get an earlier start than we did this year. If you are interested in seeing what it is all about, this weekend's race is a great way to experience the team on race day. We will have a Brandon Blackhawks flag at the tent, so we are easy to find. Our kids will be racing with around 400 of the best mountain bike student racers in the state. Bloomer Park in Rochester Sunday, October 13 Varsity and JV start at 10 a.m. Middle School starts at 11:30 a.m. Elementary and Novice start at 12:30 p.m. For more information, contact Dan Jannette at 248-914-1632 or email brandonridemtb@gmail.com. |
