Band Boosters Parents & Families, The Band Boosters Executive Board hopes this email finds you and your families safe and healthy during these unprecedented times. With so many extraordinary things taking center stage, we want to remind you that the Band Boosters remain focused on upcoming school year, Marching Band season and the continued success of our band students. Although aspects of the MI Safe Schools: 2020-21 Return To School Roadmap continue to require clarification (reference Brandon School District email dated July 5th) we remain optimistic and continue to plan for upcoming Marching Band Season, and rapidly approaching Band Camp. Please join us for the Band Boosters Zoom Meeting, Monday, July 20th at 6:00 PM, for a better understanding of the various options and plans for the upcoming year. Please complete the online registration and send your check or money order to: Brandon Band Boosters P.O. Box 690 Clarkston, MI 48347 Note: Should it be determined that camp is cancelled or rescheduled, all checks will be returned. Band Camp important dates Drum line audition videos due – July 15th Drum Major & Section Leader Boot Camp – July 29th, 9am-noon Full Band Registration & Rehearsal – July 30th & July 31st, 9am-noon Band Camp – August 3rd - August 8th , 9am- 9pm Be part of something great! We need your help to make camp a success. Please consider volunteering your time or sending food to keep our kids happy & well-nourished during those long hot summer days. Watch your email for volunteer opportunities. Bottles for the Band – piles of returnable bottles & cans in your garage? Can you hold on to them for a few more weeks? The Band Booster would be grateful to take them off your hands. The Band Trailer will be available during camp week (Aug 3rd thru Aug 8th) and ready to accept them – all proceeds going directly to support our children’s success!
