It’s time for our spring OCEF (Ortonville Community Emergency Fund) food drive! We are collecting non-perishable food and personal care items for OCEF from Monday, March 14 – Friday, March 18.
Spring parent teacher conferences are right around the corner, March 21st and 23rd. Call the office to schedule your appointment, 248-627-1880.
The Scholastic Book Fair begins Thursday, March 17th and will run through March 23rd. The online sale is open March 16-25 at scholastic.com/fair. Kids can shop during their regular class times and the fair will be open during conferences.
Our next after school club starts next week! Mr. Larson will run a Makers Club starting March 17th. See the attached flyer and registration form for more details.
Math-a-Thon pledges are due, Monday, March 14th.
Popcorn day is next Thursday, March 17th. All proceeds from popcorn sales will go toward our playground improvement! Popcorn is $1.00. See the attachments for more information about our intended playground improvements and an order form for popcorn day.
Spread the word that preschool, junior kindergarten and kindergarten registration is coming soon! Oakwood will have an open house registration event on April 14th for all of our early childhood programs. Choose from two time options, 10:00 a.m. or 6:00 p.m. Bring your child to; see the classrooms, take a school bus ride, and get to know some of our staff. If you attend the evening event, we will provide pizza for dinner. We can’t wait to see you here!
State Representative Jacobson is coming to read to our Oakwood students on Monday, March 14th in celebration of March is Reading Month!
