I hope everyone has a fun and safe spring break week! We will see you back here on April 11th! Below are some announcements and reminders for when we return. I would like to send a big THANK YOU to Bridgewood Church for coming out and hosting a super fun Easter Egg Hunt with our entire school on March 23rd. All of our students from preschool through third grade were able to participate! Our Early Childhood Round-up (preschool, Jr. Kindergarten and Kindergarten) happens on Thursday, April 14th. See the attached flyer for details. If you know someone looking for a great early childhood experience for their young student, please share the information. April 13th is our next all-school assembly. A group of actors will visit Oakwood and perform a nutrition-themed play for all our kids. I’ve attached a parent letter (English and Spanish) and the top 10 ways to make fruits and veggies fun. The assembly will start at 10:45 in the OE gym if you’d like to join us! Popcorn days have been a huge success in helping us raise our playground improvement funds! Don’t forget, you can send in donation monies to provide a popcorn treat for a child who cannot afford to participate if you wish. Coy Stewart Oakwood Principal
