Hello Oakwood Families! This is a special mid-week communication to remind everyone that our first Bagel Day will be tomorrow, October 19th. Bagel Day at Fletcher Intermediate was a very popular event. Our 5th grade team has decided to start Bagel Day here at OES! The bagels are from Big Apple Bagels. The cost is $1.00. Bagel choices as voted by students are: plain, asiago cheese, cinnamon sugar or chocolate chip. We will allow students to purchase 1 bagel. A second may be purchased if there are some left after all classes visit the bagel shop. For K-2 students, please send the $1.00 in an envelope clearly marked with your child's name and Bagel Day on it. The money collected will go exclusively into an account to begin a scholarship fund for former and future OES students. There are no pre-orders, when the bagels are gone, they're gone. Kindergarten will be on a field trip tomorrow, so their first Bagel Day will be November 2nd. Please do not send bagel money with your kindergartner tomorrow.
