News & Notes from BMS for February 4th, 2019
Spirit Day: Monday, February 4th: Brandon Blue - Boys BasketballValentine Grams: Student Leadership will start selling Valentine Sucker Grams during all lunches on Monday, February 4th - Tuesday, February 12th. They will be delivered during 7th hour on Thursday, February 14th and they will be 2/$1.00. Kroger Rewards: We are still participating in the Kroger Rewards program at BMS. If you have not updated your Kroger account in a while, please consider choosing BMS as your recipient. This is especially important if your former selection was Brandon Fletcher Intermediate School. The money that we earn from this program goes directly in to our student activity account. We use the money to help cover costs for a wide variety of student related activities or to purchase items that students benefit from in our building. The Brandon Middle School Kroger Rewards number is LI707 (Please note the second character is the letter "I" and not the number 1"). Thank you for helping to support our students. Fundraiser: Our school is a contestant in this year’s Spirit Bracket Challenge sponsored by Buffalo Wild Wings. For the first round, we are competing with other schools and our designated date is Wednesday, February 13, 2019. Simply distribute the attached flyer to everyone that you know, tell them to present it to their server and 20% of their total bill will go back to Brandon Middle School. It’s as easy as that! Athletics: Please read below to see the dates of our upcoming athletic events. MS Comp Cheer FML #1 2/12 @ Davison MS FML #2 2/28 @ Flushing MS FML #3 3/7 # Fenton HS MS Swim 1/28 vs Kearsley = Now on Feb 13th @ Fenton w/Kearsley (*Need Bus) 1/30 vs Grand Blanc = TBD 2/7 & 2/8 League meet postponed to March 7th & 8th... Swimming will take place on Mar 7th and Diving will take place on Mar 8th. Start times TBD. (*Need bus for 3/7) MS Boys Basketball 1/23 @ GB West = TBD 1/28 vs Carman Ainsworth = Now on March 11th @ BMS 1/30 @ Owosso = Now March 13th @ Owosso MS Calendar: There is an updated BMS Calendar attached to this email.
