Hello parents of 8th graders!
It's time to help your child pick classes for the first year of high school! (Where has the time gone??)
We understand that this can be stressful and we want you to have some info to help you navigate the whole process.
When your child turns in his or her schedule card to the BMS Counseling Office tomorrow, those will be brought to the high school to be pre-screened. We will also take the forms this Friday as well. This ensures that there are no glaring mistakes before we meet next week. At the 8th Grade Expo Night on February 20th, you will receive these cards back and can look them over with your child and make any necessary changes prior to locking these requests in. High school administration, teachers and counselors will be present to help with these last minute decisions.
Attached is the scheduling presentation that was given to your student. Feel free to look it over as well. Also, please visit the BHS Counseling website and click on Course Catalog to see detailed descriptions of every course we offer at BHS. We look forward to working with you and welcoming our newest Brandon High School students!
