Spirit Day: Tuesday, June 11: Neon Day - must wear either a neon shirt or shorts/pants Lunch Accounts: There will be no more charges in the lunch line for the remainder of the year and balances should be paid in full by June 10th. Preschool: The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is a FREE Preschool Program for families that meet program requirements; including eligibility guidelines and/or existing risk factors. Please note, children must be 4 years old on or before December 1, 2019. The attached flyer has all of the specific information. Brandon Preschool Academy: This is another great opportunity to get your student’s education started off on the right track. The two attached flyers give details and pricing for this amazing program. Don’t miss out. DC Trip: The attachment below is an update about the Washington D.C. Trip for the fall. BGYA: BGYA would like present relevant topics to parents for the upcoming school year. To make sure we are on target with the topics of interest, a survey has been put together for parents, guardians and students. Please take a couple of minutes to fill out the survey. BGYA Survey Girl’s Basketball Skills Camp: The Brandon Girls’ Basketball Program will be offering a camp this summer for girls entering grades 1-8 who would like to learn the game, or get in the gym and improve their skills! Join us for fun and basketball the week of July 22-26 in the Oakwood Elementary Gym from 10:00 AM -12:00 PM. Meet & Eat: The Brandon School District announces the sponsorship of the Summer Food Services Program for children. Free meals will be made available to children 18 years of age and under or persons up to age 26 who are enrolled in an educational program for the mentally or physically disabled that is recognized by a State or local public educational agency. Please read the attached flyer for more details. Last Day of School: Families! Brandon Middle School is ready to celebrate the end of a wonderful school year! We are having an “End of the Year Celebration” for all grade levels on the last day of school, Monday, June 17! There will be a variety of fun stations the students can choose from, and we need your help to supervise the stations or to donate goods. 6th grade participates from 7:40 - 8:35, 7th grade participates from 8:45 - 9:40, and 8th grade participates from 9:55 - 10:50. Any help is wonderful to us - supervising or donating.
