News & Notes from BMS for September 9, 2019
Homework Club: Homework Club is held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:40-3:10 in Mrs. Madacki’s room 208 starting on Monday, September 16th. Spirit Wear: Our Spirit Wear Store is now open. Many of the items are offered in several colors with several designs. Just click on the individual items to see what is available. BMS Spirit Wear Store Back to School Night: Our Back to School Night is on Wednesday, September 11th from 6:00-7:00 P.M. It is an open format. All of the teachers will be in their rooms and will be available to talk with you. BMS Athletics: Attention Students - if you are interested in participating in 7th and 8th grade football, or 7th and 8th grade girls basketball, you are still welcome to come out to join the team. Football players should contact 7th grade coach Larry Kastl and Basketball players should contact Coach Liz Hendershott or Coach Eileen McClennen. Intramural Athletic Program: This program is designed to increase quality athletic involvement of Brandon elementary and middle school age students. Students will be introduced to a variety of sports and fitness activities so they develop a greater interest in athletics. You can register by clicking on the interactive link in the attached flyer. 7th Grade Parents: Attention 7th Grade Parents interested in their student going to Washington D.C . next school year. Information will be coming home on October 23 with your student. There will be an informational Parent Meeting that night at 7:00 PM in the KIVA/Small Group Assembly Room at the Middle School. Parents: Please read the attached letter from Mr. Hendershott regarding some of the specific details for the D.C. trip. 6th Grade Band Parent Meeting: There is a 6th grade band parent meeting on Tuesday, September 10 2019.The meeting is in our Media Center and the meeting starts at 6:00 P.M.
