News & Notes from BMS for September 23, 2019
Spirit Day: Tuesday, September 24th Cross Country Brandon Blue Clubs: The Brandon Township Public Library is offering two new clubs for teens. The clubs are Anime Club and the Teen Writing Club. Please read the attached flyers for more details if you are interested. Spirit Wear: Check out this website link if you would like to order any BMS spirit wear. This website has some really amazing looking items. Spirit Wear Brandon Parks & Rec.: The parks and rec department have four new programs to offer. They are also sponsoring Septemberfest which is on Saturday, September 28th. The attached flyers have all of the details. BMS Math Support: New this fall, math support is being offered 4 days per week by middle school math teachers. This program will focus on the mastery of math skills utilizing differentiated instruction for each student. Attend as many classes as you would like each week (i.e. Monday & Thursday, or just Wednesday). You can register electronically on the attached form. Parent & Student Connect: Oakland Schools has an app for Student and Parent Connect. Please follow the directions in the attachment below. This is a great resource for you and your student. Salute to Service- Military, Veteran & 1st Responder Tribute: Please come on out Friday, September 20th for our first Varsity Football game of the season.
