Spirit Day: Tuesday, November 19th: Brandon Blue - Wrestling Tuesday, November 26th: Seminar T-Shirt 7th Grade Parents: It's not too late to sign your student up for Washington D.C. for next year. There are 3 easy ways to sign up: 1. Use the Registration Packet your son/daughter brought home October 23 2. Call 1-800-468-5899 use trip number #182910 3. Go online to World Strides again use trip number # 182910 If you have any questions, please contact Steve Hendershott at shendershott@brandon.k12.mi.us or 248-627-1830 ext 1349 We just received our date for a Wreath Laying Ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery. This is a highlight of every trip. More information on how to be a Wreath Layer, representing Brandon Middle School and the Brandon School District will be coming in February. Knowledge & Quiz Bowl: Quiz Bowl / Knowledge Bowl is an academic club that competes against neighboring schools in answering knowledge-based questions. The competition formats are Jeopardy-styled, team-based trivia challenges that rewards knowledge and expertise in multiple disciplines. Using buzzers, teams compete to be the fastest to correctly answer challenging questions. There are questions on all manner of topics- current events, geography, grammar, literature, history, economics, languages, music, mythology, etc. The attached flyer from Mr. Laux has more details.
