Spirit Days : Thursday, January 30: Brandon Blue - Competitive Cheer Update: Due to today's school cancellation the following changes have been made to our schedule. Here are the changes:
Yearbooks: Yearbooks are for sale at the current price of $40 (+ tax). Prices increase after January 31. Seminar classes are participating in a competition now through 1/31. The Seminar class with the highest percentage of sold yearbooks will win a doughnut breakfast. Please consider purchasing a yearbook for your student before the price increases. Orders can be placed online at Jostens.com, the BMS website, or by using the attached order form. Spelling Bee: The results are in for the Championship spelling bee. 1st place was achieved by 7th grader Aubree Kay Busha, and the position of runner-up was awarded to 8th grader Jovie Love. The winning word was millionaire. The challenge word was astronautical. Aubree will now advance to the Oakland County Regional Spelling Bee on February 29, 2020, at Oakland Schools in Waterford where she will represent Brandon Middle School. Congratulations, Aubree, and best of luck at regionals!! Washington D.C. Update: Currently we have 73 people signed up for our trip next October for our 8th graders. It's not too late for you to join this awesome class trip to Jamestown Virginia, Williamsburg Virginia, our Nation's Capital,and Philadelphia Pennsylvania. 5 nights and four days of learning and fun. We are limiting the trip to the first 100 who sign up, so don't delay. Scholarships will be coming available soon and you must be registered to apply. We have also started our contest to see who will represent Brandon Middle School with a Wreath Laying at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery.Contact Mr Hendershott, our Program Director for details on how to register.shendershott@bradnon.k12.mi.us 248-627-1830 ext 1349 Winter Girls Basketball League: The Brandon Girls Basketball Program will be offering a winter basketball league in February for girls in grades 4-8 who would like to get out of the cold and into the gym to improve their skills or learn the game!
