News & Notes from BMS for February 21st, 2021
7th & 8th Boys Basketball: Middle School Boys Basketball tryouts will start on Monday February 22nd with games beginning March 3rd. We will run two teams (A-B Teams) for both grade levels. · 7th grade will practice after school, 2:00-4:00pm · 8th grade will practice 4:00-6:00pm. 8th grade players will not be allowed to stay after school to wait for practice to start. They will need to leave and return at the scheduled start time. Due to a shortage of available basketball officials, MS games will be played on Wednesdays in the month of March (3, 10, 17, 24) and will resume two games per week on April 6, 8, 12 and 14 for a total of 8 games. There will be no games played over spring break (March 29 - April 2nd). All interested participants must have a physical or MHSAA Health Questionnaire, along with a Brandon Athletic Contract on file before they can start practicing. All forms are available on our athletic website: Winter Tryouts *ALL middle school spring sports will be able to start practice on April 15th. 7th Grade Parents: It's not too late to sign up for next years Washington DC trip scheduled for October.
