News & Notes From Brandon Middle School for the Week of October 24th, 2016 Family Fun Fest: The Brandon Rotary Club will be offering a Family Fun Night with a Halloween theme on October 30th. Please see the attached flyer for more details. Half Day of School: Just a reminder that Monday, October 31st is a half day of school for all students. Students will be released at 10:55. Movie Night: The BMS poms team is hosting Halloween Movie Night. Come and enjoy a night of fun with popcorn, snacks, and friends. Please see the attached flyer. Free Tutoring: National Honor Society students from Brandon High School are providing free tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays which run from 2:30-3:30. Please take advantage of this great opportunity. Homework Club: The homework club is coming soon. This is an after school club where students have the opportunity to have a quiet place to work on their homework. More details to come. Survey: Thank you to everyone that filled out the survey that was sent a few weeks ago. This information helps me to have a better understanding of BMS. I greatly appreciate the feedback. This information will help me to formulate a plan on how to improve BMS. Thank You: I have had a great first week here at BMS. The students, staff, and parents have welcomed me with open arms. It is truly a joy to see so many smiling and happy faces as I walk down the halls. This year is going to be amazing. Thank you for making my first week here so special.
