News & Notes From BMS for the Week of Nov. 14th, 2016
Spirit Days: Wednesday, November 16, 2016 is a spirit Disney Day. PTO Fundraiser: This year again, the Holiday Greenery Fundraiser offers the convenience to order and pick up Holiday Greenery at Brandon Middle School. Placing your order through the PTO will support BMS students. Wojo's will donate a percentage of your order to the BMS PTO. Please see the attached order form. Food Drive: Brandon Middle School is having a food drive to benefit OCEF. Please see the attached flyer for all of the details. After School Tutoring: NHS students, under the direction of Charlie Pinter, are offering free after school tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30-3:30. Have your student take advantage of this great opportunity. Please see the attached flyer. The Christmas Story Express: Bridgewood Church in Clarkston is having a friendly competition between Harvey-Swanson Elementary, Oakwood Elementary, Brandon Fletcher Intermediate School, and Brandon Middle School. Students will receive an invitation and the THREE schools with the most participation will win $1,000! Please see the attached flyer. Screen-Wise Parents: Brandon Groveland Youth Assistance in conjunction with Orion Area Youth Assistance is offering a program called Screen-Wise Parents and Mindful Children.
