News & Notes from BMS for the Week of February 13th, 2017
Yearbooks for Sale: Yearbooks are currently for sale for $40. Please consider purchasing a yearbook for your student this year! Yearbooks are pre-order only. Unlike years past, there will not be extra yearbooks available in the spring for purchase. Orders can be placed online through the link on the BMS website, or by visiting jostens.com. There are order forms are available in the Counseling Office for cash or check purchases. Spirit Day: Wednesday, February 15th Brandon Blue Competitive Cheer Hat & Pajama Day: On Friday, February 24th students can pay one dollar and wear a hat or pajamas to BMS. Girls’ Basketball Youth Night: Please see the attached flyer for details. 8th Grade Transition Day: On Wednesday, February 15th the entire 8th grade class will go to Brandon High School for Transition Day. Students will tour the building, pick out their classes for the 2017-2018 school year, and have discussions about athletics, getting involved, and scheduling. Students can bring their own lunch or they can purchase a lunch using their school lunch account. Please make sure that your student dresses appropriately for the weather because the 8th graders will walk to the high school on this day. Therapy Dog: BMS has a therapy dog, Symphony, who is going to visit us on Wednesdays from 9:00-11:00. Teachers can sign students up and Symphony will be in our Media Center.
