News & Notes from BMS for the Week of February 21st, 2017
No School: This is a reminder that there is no school on Monday February 20th. Spirit Day: Thursday, February 23rd Brandon Blue – Swim 7th Grade DC Trip: 7th Grade Parents: The 8th Grade Washington DC trip is scheduled for October 18-23, 2017. That's right, next fall. This trip is just 7 months away. Currently we have 71 students signed up for the trip and we are looking for more. If you are interested, there are three easy ways to register: 1. Refer to the registration packet your student was given earlier this year. 2. Call 1-800-468-5899, and tell them you want to register for trip 142910. 3. Go to www.worldstrides.com/signup and again use trip number 142910. You can begin to make payments through the Payment Plan system so your student will be able to see and experience many of the things they will learn about in 8th grade US History. If you have any questions, contact our Program Director Steve Hendershott at shendershott@brandon.k12.mi.us or 248-627-1830 ext 1349 Hat & Pajama Day: On Friday, February 24th students can pay one dollar and wear a hat or pajamas to BMS.
