Online Registration for 2017-2018: Your student brought home a letter with all of the details for our new online registration process. If you did not receive this letter I am attaching one with this email. If you have any questions or need help completing this process contact Sue Duggan at Brandon’s Enrollment Office at 248-627-1866. Washington DC: 7th grade parents. It is not too late to sign up for our 8th grade Washington DC trip scheduled for October 18-23, 2017. There are three easy ways to sign up; 1.Use the Registration Form your student has brought home (or Mr. Hendershott has more of these), 2. Online at WWW. Worldstrides.com/signup (Use trip # 142910) or 3. Call 1-800-468-5899. If you have any questions, contact our Trip Organizer, Steve Hendershott at shendershott@brandon.k12.mi.us Cedar Point: Please read the following attachment if your student is going to Cedar Point on Monday, June 12th. Study Skills: Oakland University is offering free study skills session this summer for free. Please read the attached flyer for more details. One Million Pages: Once again the entire Brandon School District is participating in our One Million Pages Summer Reading Challenge. This was a complete success last summer and we hope to once again reach our district goal of reading one million pages. Please use the following link to record your pages. Good luck and happy reading. http://www.brandonschooldistrict.org/reading-challenge/ Yearbooks: Purchased yearbooks will be distributed to students next Tuesday, 6/13/17, prior to the last day of school. Anyone on the waiting list will be notified of availability via student email and at school with a written notice. Notices may be emailed/distributed prior to or on 6/13. Eligible waiting list students will have 24 hours from the date/time of the emailed notice to pay for the yearbook in room 222 during Seminar/1st hour. Phone calls to parents/guardians regarding availability and payment will not be made; written notices will be given directly to students, and it is up to the student to communicate to his or her parent/guardian. The yearbook cost remains $45.00. Checks, money orders, or cash will be accepted. Yearbooks will be released to the next person on the waiting list if payment is not made within the allotted time after notice of availability. Last Day of School: Thursday, June 15th is our last day of school and it is a half day of school. Dismissal will be at 10:55 am. GO BLACKHAWKS!! Michael Tucker Principal |
