News & Notes from BMS for June 15th, 2017
One Million Pages: Once again the entire Brandon School District is participating in our One Million Pages Summer Reading Challenge. This was a complete success last summer and we hope to once again reach our district goal of reading one million pages. Please use the following link to record your pages. Good luck and happy reading. http://www.brandonschooldistrict.org/reading-challenge/ Registration: BMS registration day is Monday, August 28th from 8:30-11:30 and from 12:30-2:30. Student schedules will be available on Sunday, August 27th. This is also our picture day. Summer Office Hours: The BMS office will be open from Monday, June 19th to Friday, June, 30th from 7:00 am to 3:00pm. The office will open back up on Thursday, August 3rd. Registration Next Year: All forms for next year will be completed online. This can be done using the parent portal starting in July. Your student brought home with them directions on how to access these forms last week. If you run into trouble or need more information, please contact Sue Duggan at 248-627-1866. Football Camp: Please read the attached flyer for a great football camp. Football at the Big House: The Blackhawks will open the 2017 football season at the University of Michigan's Big House Stadium and play the Fenton Tigers on Saturday August 26th, 4:00pm. Pre-sale ticket orders are available now for Fenton vs Brandon, (see attached form). Tickets can be picked up from the Brandon High School Athletic Office starting August 3rd, 2017 between 8am-3pm, M-F. T-shirts and spectator buses are also available.
