Parents of Incoming 9th Grade Students: Do you have an incoming freshmen attending Brandon High School for the upcoming 2017 – 2018 school year. I wholeheartedly believe in constant communication to all stake holders in order for your student to maximize their success while at BHS. To help with this communication, there are two things that you can do as parents to help with this transition. 1) Sign up for my weekly e-news updates that will give you the latest news and information that is going on at BHS. You can do this by going to the Brandon School District web page and selecting the tab on the left hand side called “Subscribe to e-News.” 2) If you have a Twitter account, follow me for daily pictures, information, and news that is happening daily from BHS. You can find me at @BlackHawkPride I look forward to meeting you and your student as we embark on another school year. I hope you are having a fantastic summer. Don’t hesitate to call, email, or stop in the office if you ever have any concerns or questions. Upcoming Dates: August 7th – 11th……… Tryouts for all Fall Sports August 22nd………………. Registration for grades 10 and 12 August 22nd………………. Testing out for all classes August 23rd………………. Registration for grades 9 and 11 August 26th………………. First football game at U of M Stadium August 29th………………. 9th Grade Link Crew Orientation day September 5th……………..First day of school See you August 29th from 8:00- 12:00 at BHS!
