News & Notes from BMS for January 8th, 2018
Spirit Day: Wednesday, January 10th Seminar T-Shirt DayScheduling: Believe it or not we will be starting the scheduling process for next school year with our students in the upcoming weeks. Now is a great time to sit down with them and have discussions about what classes they could and should be taking next year and beyond. NWEA Testing: We are starting our NWEA testing for the Winter session on Monday, January 8th. Please have a conversation with your student about the importance of this test. We use the data from this test to help form our instruction and scheduling process. Harry Potter Mini Golf: The Brandon Township Public Library is hosting a min golf event. See the attached flyer for more details. January 15th: No school K-12 students Lost & Found: We are donating to charity all of current lost and found items on Tuesday, January 9th. Please have your student see if any of these items are theirs. Scholastic Art Entries: If your 7th or 8th grade student has Art class with Mrs. Daniels and they would like to submit a piece of art for the Scholastic competition please read the attached guidelines. The school will pay the $5.00 entrance fee for each piece of art that is submitted. All of the forms are due to Mrs. Daniels by Tuesday, January 9th.
