News & Notes from BMS for April 9th, 2018
Spirit Day: Wednesday, April 11th: Detroit Tigers Gear (no hats), PJ & Hat Day on Friday, April 13. Students must pay $1.00 to participate in the PJ & Hat Spirit Day. This is a fundraiser for our Student Leadership group. NHS Tutoring: BMS will not have NHS tutoring for the week of April 9th. Tutoring will resume on Tuesday, April 17th. However, we still have Homework Club on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:40-3:10. Marking Period 3: The end of our 3rd marking period is Friday, April 13th. Please communicate with your student's teachers if you have any questions about their grades before the marking period ends. M-STEP Testing: On Wednesday, April 11th we are going to start our M-STEP testing for our 8th graders. Our 8th graders will take the ELA portion of this test this Wednesday. Please make sure that your student gets a good night's sleep and eats a good healthy breakfast. These tests are important and we want to make sure that our students do their absolute best.
