News & Notes from BMS for April 23rd, 2018
Spirit Day: Thursday, April 26th: Brandon Blue – Track Cookie Dough Fundraiser: The BMS cookie dough fundraiser is going on now! The order turn in days are April 20th, 26th & 27th during lunch hours. If they turn in 5 orders, students will participate in the candy cash pull and if they sell 10 items they get to play the Plinko game giving them a chance to win some great prizes! We appreciate any participation in this fundraising effort for our great school. The monies raised will help support many student activities at BMS. Thank you in advance for your generosity Half Day: Friday, April 27th is a half of day of school for students. Dismissal is at 10:55 A.M. Lost & Found: Please have your student check our lost and found if they are missing any items. On Wednesday, April 25 we are going to box up our lost and found items and donate them to charity. Oakland University & Cedar Point Field Trip: I am attaching additional copies of the permission slips for the 8th grade field trips to Cedar Point and Oakland University. Please make sure that your 8th grade student turns these permission slips in as soon as possible. 8th Grade M-STEP: On Wednesday, April 25th our 8th graders will take the Science and Social Studies section of the M-STEP. Attendance is extremely important. We only had two students absent for our first round of testing. Please talk to your student about the importance of this test. Please remind your student to get a good night’s rest and to eat a good breakfast. Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated. Babysitter Safety Class: Please read the attached flyer for a great class on how to become certified in Babysitter Safety, CPR, & First Aid. Have a great week and GO BLACKHAWKS!!
