Welcome 8th Grade Families: We are excited to have the class of 2022 join us next school year at Brandon High School. I have heard many great things about you from your current teachers and administrators. I wanted to take a moment to reach out to you to give you some important dates and events that will be going on over the summer and towards the beginning of next school year so that you could get them on your calendar now. August 6th – First day of tryouts for football August 8th – First day of tryouts for all other Fall sports August 22nd – Freshmen Registration (get pictures taken, receive your schedules, buy yearbooks at a reduced rate, tour the school, etc….) August 28th – Freshmen Link Crew Orientation from 9:00 – 12:00 (All incoming freshmen should attend for a fun day of introductions to BHS) August 30th – First home football game (7:00) September 4th – First Day of School September 11th – Back to School Night for all Parents (6:00) Also, I send out weekly Eblasts during the school year and will send out some over the summer as well. Please go to the Brandon School District website and click on the “subscribe to e-news” tab on the left hand side to sign up for these important informational messages.
