News & Notes from BMS for August 24, 2018
 
Registration: BMS registration day is Monday, August 27th from 8:30-11:30 and from 12:30-2:30. This is also our picture day. If you completed the online registration process your student’s schedule will be available. Registration can be done using the parent portal. We will also have computers available here to complete the process as well.   

6th grade parent/guardians we are going to have a table for information regarding 6th grade camp at registration as well.  
 
Washington DC 8th Graders: Reminder to Parents/Guardians and Students participating in our 8th grade Washington DC Trip in October, Mr. Hendershott will be at Registration Day to accept snacks and water donations as well as pass out Health Forms and Behavior Contracts and to fill out in advance of our Mandatory Parent Meeting that will be on September 10th at 7:00 P.M. in the Upstairs Small Group Assembly Room/KIVA.
 
Those who have not registered but still wish to, go can see Mr. Hendershott at registration.  Students need to be registered by September 10th as rooming assignments will be made that night.

7th & 8th Grade Football: It’s still not too late for your student to sign up for football. Practice has already started, but it is still not too late to join. If your student is interested in playing football please contact our athletic office at 248-627-1827.
 
Drop Off & Pick Up: All 8th grade drop offs and pickups will use the north entrance by Brandon Tire and all 6th grade drop offs and pickups will use the south entrance next to our bus loop. 7th grade students who have their 1st hour class upstairs will use the north entrance and 7th graders with their 1st hour class downstairs will use the south entrance. Students can enter the building at 7:00 A.M. Students are then directed to sit and wait in the cafeteria until we dismiss them at 7:25 A.M. There are several signs that are posted throughout the BMS campus to ensure that we have a safe and easy to follow traffic flow. If you have any questions about this please contact the BMS main office.
