News and Notes for Brandon High School for the Week of January 28, 2019
Schedule: Assuming that there are no snow days for this week, below will be this week’s schedule. Monday – ½ Day of School (Exams hour 3-4) Tuesday – ½ Day of School (Exams hours 5-6) Wednesday – Full Day of School Thursday – Full Day of School Friday – Full Day of School Report Cards: Report Cards for Semester 1 grades will now come home with your student on Tuesday, February 5th. If you have any questions about your student’s individual grades, please contact their teacher directly. Vision Testing: Next week all 9th grade students will have their vision tested through the Oakland County Health Department. If you would like to opt your student out of this testing, please send principal Dan Stevens this request in writing. DEEP Presentation: The DEEP presentation for sophomores has been rescheduled for this Thursday, January 31st at 6:30 pm. If you have any questions about this program contact the Counseling Office. See the attached flyer for more details. Upcoming Dates to Put on Your Calendar Now: February 5th – Report Cards Sent Home February 15th – ½ Day of School February 18th – No School February 20th – 8th Grade Visits BHS / Incoming Freshmen Expo Night February 22nd – Snowcoming Basketball Game February 23rd – Snowcoming Dance Have a Great Week and GO BLACKHAWKS!
