News and Notes for Brandon High School for the Week of November 18, 2019
Seniors: Due to the snow day, Herff-Jones will be here during all lunches this Tuesday, November 19th to take your cap and gown, ring, spirit clothing and announcement orders. Please see the main office if you misplaced your senior packet with all of this information. This will be the last date that Herff-Jones will be here to take your orders. Sophomores: All sophomores will be taking a trip to the Oakland Technical Campus on Tuesday November 19th. Please make sure you get your permission slip in to the main office by the end of the day on Monday. Please see the Oakland Technical Campus website for more information about the amazing programs that they offer for our students. Tutoring / Homework Club: Did you know that we offer a quiet place for all of our students to complete their homework after school from 2:30 – 3:30 in room #203? There is also tutors there to help students, as needed, in a variety of different subjects. For more information, please contact our Academic Success Coordinators at academicsuccess@brandon.k12.mi.us Charity Week: This year the Brandon Student Council will be collecting money for the Alliance for the Great Lakes as part of Charity Week. Please see the attached flyer if you are interested in donating money to this worthy cause. All those that donate will be recognized on a banner in our high school gymnasium. Internet Safety: Please join the Brandon Groveland Youth Assistance, and the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office for an informational night surrounding the topic of Family Internet Safety. This November 20th event is a must come to if you have children. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
