News and Notes for Brandon High School for the Week of February 10, 2020
No School: This Friday, February 14th will be a half day of school for all students with no school on the Monday February 17th. Have a wonderful long weekend! Scheduling: Scheduling for next school year will start taking place in mid-February. Please take some time to talk with your student about what classes they should be taking to prepare them for their future. The BHS Course Catalog can be accessed HERE. Summer Jobs: Every year Oakland County Parks employs our students with some amazing summer opportunities. If your student would like a summer job with competitive pay, please see the attached flyer. Upcoming Events to Place on Your Calendar Now: February 12th – Official State Count Day February 14th – ½ Day of School February 17th – No School February 22nd – Snowcoming Dance February 25th – 8th Grade Visits BHS February 25th – 8th Grade Expo Night March 3rd – 6th – Scheduling for all Students for Next School Year March 9th – Spring Sports Begin March 10th – Voting Day March 11th – Parent / Teacher Conferences (5:00 – 8:00) March 13th – No School March 27th – ½ Day of School March 27th – End of 3rd Marking Period March 28th – April 5th – Spring Break Have a Great Day and GO BLACKHAWKS!
