News and Notes for Brandon High School for the Week of March 14, 2016 Parents and Community Members: Seniors: Just a reminder that every senior will receive 4 tickets for graduation which will be held this year on June 12th at 2:00 pm. All requests for additional tickets can be made in writing to the BHS principal through Email starting on April 18th. NO requests will be considered before this date. Please email me at dstevens@brandon.k12.mi.us. Senior Parents: The Senior All Night Party will be held this year on June 2, 2016. Please see the attached letter for more information. Senior parents are encouraged to help with this event. National College Fair: We will be taking all interested Juniors to a National College Fair on March 21, 2016 in Novi. This is a free trip with over 200 colleges and universities being represented. This is limited to the first 50 Juniors that get in their permission slip to the Counseling Office. See Mr. Brennan for more details. Permission slip is attached. SAT Testing: Just a reminder to all Juniors that we are offering SAT preparation classes every Monday and Wednesday from 2:30 – 3:30 in the Media Center. The SAT test will weigh heavily in determining which colleges and universities you are accepted to. It is highly recommended that you attend these sessions. See Mrs. McDonald or Ms. Smith for more information. Parent-Teacher Conferences: Mark your calendars! Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday, March 23rd from 5:00 – 8:00. We hope to see you there! No School: Just a reminder that there will be no school for all students on March 24-25. We will see you back at school on Monday, March 28th. Scheduling: Scheduling of classes for next school year is now complete! If you have any questions, please contact your student’s counselor.
