News and Notes for Brandon High School for the Week of May 25, 2020 End of Semester: The end of the school year is officially June 12th. Please make sure that your student is all caught up on all of their assigned work, so that it doesn’t affect their grade in a negative way. Please contact your student’s individual teachers if you have any questions. Book / Material Returns: Please mark June 11th and 12th on your calendar for student book and technology returns for grades 9-11. More details are to come. We are hopeful that students will be able to come into the building to clean out their lockers on this day as well. Stay tuned for more details. Brandon Groveland Youth Assistance: The BGYA is integral in our community in helping at-risk youth. Please consider helping to fund this organization by mentioning BGYA when you check out at Wojos Saturday May 30th – 31st and BGYA will receive 10% of all proceeds. See the attached flyer for more details. Love and Logic: The Brandon Groveland Youth Assistance will be hosting a parenting program for all parents starting June 16th. Please see the flyer for additional details. Financial Aid Presentation: You are invited to attend a virtual financial aid presentation to learn general information regarding the financial aid process. Just like a Financial Aid Night held in-person each year at BHS, the knowledgeable Financial Aid experts from Oakland University will provide general information able to be used no matter what college or university students plan to attend. Topics include the elements of financial aid, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), variety of resources available, and more! Please join this virtual presentation from your computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone using either WiFi or cellular service.
