Families of Brandon High School: Due to many factors, Brandon High school will be following an alternating day hybrid schedule until further notice. Classes would be at half capacity each day with students going in-person for two days followed by asynchronous learning for the next two days. Your student’s safety is our number one priority and we want to ensure that class sizes remain within the social distancing boundaries. This schedule allows for us to complete this task, as well as being able to monitor school trends and social distancing so that potential changes can be made before all students come back to the building in person. This schedule is designed to be a phase-in schedule back to full time learning, and not necessarily one that will continue all year long. We will continue to assess our progress and options on a weekly basis, and communicate with you as things change. We appreciate your patience as we prepare for the 2020-2021 school year and look forward to seeing your students the week of September 8th. To verify, the first days of school for students A-L is September 8th and 9th and the first days of school for students M-Z is September 10th and 11th. Attached is a framework for how this will work.
