News and Notes from Brandon High School for the Week of November 30, 2020
This Week’s Schedule is all Virtual for All Students: Monday – “A” Day (Hours 1-3) Tuesday – “B” Day (Hours 4-6) Wednesday – “A” Day (Hours 1-3) Thursday – “B” Day (Hours 4-6) Friday – “A” Day (Hours 1-3) Daily Schedule: 1st Block (1st or 4th Hour) – 7:20 – 9:15 2nd Block (2nd or 5th Hour) – 9:20 – 11:15 Lunch – 11:15 – 11:55 3rd Block (3rd or 6th Hour) – 11:55 – 1:50 *It is imperative for you student to be successful that they are attending the above virtual sessions. These are mandatory and not optional. Report Cards: Report cards were mailed to your homes last week. If you have any questions about your student’s grades, please contact your student’s individual teachers. These grades are also posted on the parent and student portals online. December 9th Return: As of right now, all students that attend Brandon High School face-to-face are set to return in person on Wednesday, December 9th. We will keep you updated if any changes are to be made to this return date. Free Weekly Meals for All Families: Please see the attached letter regarding free meals for all Brandon School District families. Pick up times have been added. Close Contact Quarantine Guidelines: The Oakland County Health Department has recently updated their quarantine guidelines. Please see the attached memo, so that you are aware of these guidelines and how best to keep you and your family safe. Dates to Place on Your Calendar Now: December 19th – January 3rd - Christmas Break January 15th – 18th – No School (Mid Winter Break) January 26th – ½ Day of School (Exams Hours 1-2) January 27th – ½ Day of School (Exams Hours 3-4) January 28th – ½ Day of School (Exams Hours 5-6) January 28th – End of Semester #1 January 29th – No School February 5th – Report Cards Sent Home If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to one of our school administrators.
