News and Notes for Brandon High School for the Week of February 22, 2021
This Week’s Schedule: Monday – “B” Day (Hours 4-6) Tuesday – “A” Day (Hours 1-3) Wednesday – “B” Day (Hours 4-6) Thursday – “A” Day (Hours 1-3) Friday – “B” Day (Hours 4-6) Credit Recovery: If your student is in need of recovering credits in order to stay on track towards graduation, free credit recovery classes start this week on Tuesday and Thursday after school until 3:00. These classes are usually $125 - $350 if you were to take them during summer school. Please sign up in the Counseling Office and/or see your counselor for more details. Live Streaming Athletics: Unfortunately, our sporting events are closed to the general public due to COVID restrictions. However, our live stream system is through the NFHS Network. Parents can sign up and create an account at www.nfhsnetwork.com. There is a subscription fee of $10.99/month or $69.99/year, but this allows subscribers to view all events (Home, Away and more...) on the NFHS network. Parent Teacher Conferences: Parent Teacher Conferences will take place on March 9th – 10th. These will be done virtually like they were in the Fall. Please watch for upcoming E-mails on how to sign up for these sessions. Calendars: Please see the attached updated February and March calendars. Please remember that these calendars could change depending on snow days or other interruptions to our school days. Graduation: Graduation is set for June 6, 2021 at 2:00 on the Brandon High School Football Field. Please stay tuned for more information and COVID restriction requirements.
