News and Notes for Brandon High School for the Week of March 1, 2021
This Week’s Schedule: Monday – “A” Day (Hours 1-3) Tuesday – “B” Day (Hours 4-6) Wednesday – “A” Day (Hours 1-3) Thursday – “B” Day (Hours 4-6) Friday – “A” Day (Hours 1-3) Parent Teacher Conferences: Parent Teacher Conferences will take place on March 9th – 10th. These will be done virtually from 4:00 - 7:00 like they were in the Fall. Please watch for upcoming E-mails on how to sign up for these sessions. Accelerated Options at BHS: As we start to begin the scheduling process for next school year, please see the attached document which illustrates the many advanced options we offer for our students. Please contact your counselor for more information on any of these potential opportunities. Spring Sports: High School Spring Sports are scheduled to start the week of March 22nd. More information regarding tryout times and locations will be posted on the athletic website soon. Any athlete planning to play a spring sport will need to make sure they have a current physical and athletic contract on file. Contact or stop by the athletic office if you have any questions. Girl’s Tennis: ANY Girls or Boys interested in playing tennis this Spring and next Fall, there will be an informational meeting on Friday March 5th, 2:00pm in room 151. Girl’s Track: Any Girls interested in running Track this spring, there will be a meeting on Tuesday March 9th, 2:00pm in STEM lab room 141. Girls Track Coaches will be Mrs Bandlow and Mrs Hildebrand. Looking for A Summer Job: Oakland County Parks are looking to employ hundreds of students in our area in a wide variety of positions. Please see the attached flyer for more details. Dates to Place on Your Calendar Now: March 9th -10th – Parent Teacher Conferences March 12th – No School March 17th – Online scheduling due for all students March 26th – April 4th – Spring Break If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to one of our school administrators.
