News and Notes for Brandon High School for the Week of June 14, 2021
This Week’s Schedule: Monday – “B” Day (Hours 4-6) Tuesday – ½ Day of School (Exams for Hours 1-2) Wednesday – ½ Day of School (Exams for Hours 3-4) Thursday – ½ Day of School (Exams for Hours 5-6) Friday – No School *Please see the attached exam schedule for more details and specific times of each exam. Yearbooks: We have a limited number of 2020-2021 yearbooks left for sale. If you would like to purchase a yearbook, please pick one up in the main office. The cost is $95.00. Circus: Mark your calendars now to come and visit Culpepper & Merriweather’s Circus under the big tent with shows July 3rd and 4th at 2:00 and 4:30 at the HT Burt Athletic Field. This event is sponsored by the Ortonville Lions Club. Medications: If you have any medications on file with Brandon High School, please make sure that they are picked up by June 24th. Any medications left after this date will be properly disposed of. Summer Athletic Camps: The Brandon School District is offering all kinds of summer athletic camps for all ages. Please click HERE for more information and sign up information. Contact the Brandon Athletic Office or the Community Education Office if you have any questions. Senior Transcripts: Please keep in mind that all transcripts needed during the summer months MUST me requested through Parchment. For this to be completed in a timely manner, please see the attached instructions and request these before June 28, 2021. Our Counseling Office will be closed the month of July and these will NOT be processed during this time. Free Summer Meals: All students can still receive free breakfast and lunch during the summer months. Please see the attached flyer for more details on how to receive this food. BHS Summer Hours: Please see the hours below for Brandon High School for the summer months. June 2st – 30th – Open Monday – Friday (7:00 – 2:30) July 1st – July 23rd – Closed July 26th – August 3rd – Open Monday – Friday (7:00 – 2:30) *If you have any urgent matters during times that the building is not staffed please call our board office at (248) 627- 1800. Dates to Place on Your Calendar Now: June 15th – ½ Day of School (Exams Hours 1-2) June 16th – ½ Day of School (Exams Hours 3-4) June 17th – ½ Day of School (Exams Hours 5-6) June 17th – Last day of School June 25th – Semester #2 Report Cards Mailed Home August 2nd – 6th – Band Camp August 9th – Fall sports begin (physicals due) August 25th – Registration Day (pick up class schedules, pictures, buy parking passes, etc…) August 25th – Testing out for all classes in the BHS Media Center (8:00) August 31st – Freshmen Orientation September 7th – First Day of School If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to one of our school administrators.
