News and Notes From Brandon High School for the Week of September 12, 2016 Seniors: We will be holding a Financial Aid Night on Tuesday (September 13th) starting at 5:00 before Curriculum Night. The information that will be presented is very important for every parent of a high school senior that will be going on to college. We will see you at 5:00 in the Performing Arts Center. Senior Parents: Please see the attached memo from our counseling office concerning important college information for you and your student. Pick up / Drop off: Just a reminder that if you are dropping your student off in the mornings or picking them up in the afternoon, for safety reasons, we would prefer you do this on the West side of the building by the gymnasium instead of pulling into the bus loop at the front of the school. Back to School Night: Please join us for our annual Back to School / Curriculum Night which will be this Tuesday, September 13th starting at 6:00 sharp. This night will give you an opportunity to meet your student’s teachers, and find out key information about your student’s classes for the upcoming year. Please make a copy of your student’s schedule from our parent portal to bring with you. You will report immediately to your student’s first hour class. Free and Reduced Lunch: Does your student qualify to receive free or reduced lunch at Brandon High School? Please call our Food Service Department for details at 248-627-1828. Please be advised that you must fill out the paperwork and qualify each year to receive this service.
