Senior Parents: In case you missed it, attached is the power point that was shared with all parents that attended our Financial Aid / FAFSA Night last week. There are important dates that you should not miss. Contact our Counseling Office if you have any questions. Seniors: Attached is the Power Point that our counselors shared with you about preparing for life beyond high school. Please go back through this presentation periodically as you prepare for the next steps after BHS. Juniors: We strongly encourage all Juniors to take the PSAT test that will be given on October 19th at Brandon High School. The cost is $15.00 per student and sign ups are due by Wednesday, September 21st. Attached is more information and the sign up sheet that went home with your student. Please contact the counseling office for more details. Athletes: Please see the attached flyer and sign up form, for a great strength & Conditioning Program that many of our athletes are taking advantage of. Stronger, Quicker, Faster to help us get better. Senior Parents: If you are a parent of a senior and want to put special touches on your student’s yearbook, please click on the attached flyer for information about their photos, personal ads, etc. Rotary Exchange: Is your son or daughter interested in being an exchange student at virtually no cost to you? The local Rotary Club is offering great opportunities for high school students. Please click on the attached flyer for details. Ford Drive One for Your School: Please put October 1, 2016 on your calendar to come up to Brandon High School to test drive a Ford vehicle. $20.00 will be donated to the athletic team or club of your choice just for test driving a vehicle. Thank you Randy Wise Ford!! NWEA Testing: NWEA testing starts this week for all 9th and 10th grade students. This will test your student’s knowledge in both math and English skills. This one hour test will be used so that our teachers can best meet the needs of your student by seeing where they are at in the curriculum. Upcoming Dates to Remember: September 30th……… Half day of school September 30th……… Picture retakes October 5th………….. Count Day (Please don’t make any appointments this day) Week of October 10th………… Homecoming Week Festivities October 14th………… No School Have a Great Week and GO BLACKHAWKS!
