Brandon High School News and Notes for the Week of November 14, 2016
Report Cards: Report cards went home with your student on Friday, November 11th. If for some reason you did not receive this report card you can contact the Counseling Office or look at your student’s grades online. Seniors: For those seniors that signed up we will be traveling to Central Michigan University this Friday November 18th to tour the campus and get a glimpse in the life of a college student. Cap and Gowns: A reminder to all seniors that Herff Jones will be here both Tuesday and Wednesday during lunches of this week to take cap and gown orders. This paperwork was given to your student to bring home a couple of weeks ago. Sophomores: For those sophomores that signed up, we will be traveling to the Oakland Schools Technical Center on Tuesday November 15th to tour the programs that they offer our students. Please click HERE to view their website and tour it for yourself. Can Food Drive: If you have extra canned goods around your house, have your student bring them to BHS all of this week to their first hour teacher. Together let’s help our community! Fall Play: This week our amazing theatre students will be presenting the hit play Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark. Shows will take place in the BHS Performing Arts Center Thursday – Saturday starting at 7:00 pm. We hope to see you all there! Thanksgiving Break: There will be a half day of school for all students on Wednesday, November 23rd. Students will be released at 10:35 a.m. See you back from break on Monday, November 28th.
