This test is mandatory by the state of Michigan and for graduation from BHS. Please make sure your junior is in attendance on this day. Dual Enrollment: Do you have a sophomore or junior that would like to earn both high school and college credit simultaneously next year by taking classes through The University of Michigan Flint? Come to an informational meeting this Monday, April 17th at 5:30 to get more information. See the attached flyer for more details. Teacher Appreciation Lunch: On Thursday, May 5th as part of Teacher Appreciation Week we will be asking for parents to bring in food to provide to our teachers for lunch to say thank you for all that they do. We also are in need of a few parents that would like to help set this up and assist. Lunch will be from 10:30 – 12:15. So that we are sure that we have enough food, please call or email Nancy Dery to let her know what you will be bringing in, and if you can help. She can be reached at 248-627-1822 or ndery@brandon.k12.mi.us Fletcher Golf Outing: The Harvey Fletcher Memorial Foundation has given over $100,000 to BHS students in the form of scholarship money. Please consider playing in their 3rd Annual golf Outing in August. See the attached flyer for more information. 5K Run / Walk: Please help support the Brandon Township Public Library by being a part of their 5K on Sunday, May 6th. See the attached flyer for more information. Report Cards: Report cards for the 3rd marking period will be coming home with your student this Friday. Please call your student’s individual teachers if you have questions about grades. Advanced Placement Testing: Any student that is in Advanced Placement classes will be taking their official tests the first two weeks of May (depending on the class). Study resources are online and available through each individual teacher. It is recommended that each student start studying now! Have a Fantastic Week and GO BLACKHAWKS!
