BHS News and Notes for the Week of May 1, 2017
Parents and Community Members: Seniors / Graduation: Attached is the list of end of the year events coming up for all seniors. Please look at this attachment carefully as there are many mandatory dates and procedures for you to know. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to email Nancy Dery at ndery@brandon.k12.mi.us. Teacher Appreciation Lunch: This week is Teacher Appreciation Week! To say thank you to our teachers for all the great work that they do we are asking parents to bring in food for lunch for our teachers on Thursday, May 4th. Lunch is from 10:30 – 12:15 and we appreciate anyone willing to donate. Please call or email Nancy Dery if you are willing to bring in food so that we make sure that we have enough for our 49 teachers. She can be contacted at ndery@brandon.k12.mi.us or 248-627-1822. Thanks! Band Ice Cream Social: Come out and support the band and get some amazing ice cream as the BHS band will entertain us outside by the cafeteria on Tuesday, May 2nd starting at 5:30. If it is raining we will make this up on Thursday, may 4th. Dress Code: As the weather heats up, please make sure that your students are coming to school dressed according to our dress code. If students are not dressed appropriately they will be made to change or call parents to bring them up new clothing. Farewell To Fletcher: Please join the Brandon School District as we say good-bye to Brandon Fletcher Intermediate School on June 2nd from 5:00 - 8:00. There will be festivities and food for the whole family. Foreign Exchange Students: Are you interested in hosting a foreign exchange student for next school year?
