News and Notes for Brandon High School for the Week of July 31, 2017
Fall Sports: It is hard to believe that Fall sports start this week at BHS. Please make sure that your student has a physical on file with the Athletic Department before they can begin practices. For more information, please bookmark the BHS Athletic Page at http://brandonblackhawks.org/ or call our Athletic Office at 248-627-1827. Big House: This year our first home football game will be played at the University of Michigan against Fenton. This is an exciting event for our whole community! Please see the attached flyer where you can purchase tickets, a commemorative shirt and transportation to the game. Note: Shirts must be ordered by August 11th. Golf Outing: Last chance to sign up for the Harvey Fletcher Golf Outing that will be taking place August 14th. All proceeds go back to our students in the form of scholarships. See the attached flyer for more details. Important Registration News: Registration will take place through the Parent Portal this school year for all students. Your student will not be allowed to get their schedule or purchase a parking permit until this is completed. Please call Sue Duggan at 248-627-1866 if you have any questions, or need your login name and password. Yearbooks: Yearbooks will be on sale at registration August 22nd – 23rd. Please see the Yearbook Website for senior picture information, personal ads, and pricing. The longer you wait to purchase your yearbook the more it cost. 9th Grade Students: Please make sure that you put August 29th on your calendar now. This day will be orientation day for all incoming 9th grade students. We will meet in the main gymnasium at Brandon High School from 8:00 – 12:00. See you then!
