News and Notes for Brandon High School for the Week of October 2, 2017
Count Day: This Wednesday, October 4th is official Count Day at BHS. Please make sure that your students are in attendance on this day. In the event that they will not be in school, please make sure that you contact our attendance line to excuse them at 248-627-1825.
Parent / Teacher Conferences: Please mark October 10th (3:00 – 6:00) and October 11th (5:00 – 8:00) on your calendar now for parent / teacher conferences. Our teachers look forward to talking to each and every one of you about how we can best meet the academic needs of our students. Credit Union: Brandon High School will be partnering with the MSU Credit Union who will be here during lunches so that students can open a bank account and learn about the banking system. Please see the attached flyers for more details. Drive One For Your School: Come up to BHS this Saturday, October 7th from 9:00 – 3:00 to test drive a Ford vehicle. For every vehicle driven, Randy Wise Ford will donate $20.00 to the athletic team or club of your choice. See the attached flyer for more details. Picture Retakes: Picture retake day is this Thursday, October 5th. Even if you don’t purchase your pictures, these are used for our yearbook. Blackhawk Hotline: Do you have something that you would like to anonymously report to the high school administration? You can text or call 248-660-0138 to an administrator 24 hours a day. All information will be held confidential.
