Brandon High School News and Notes for the Week of February 15, 2016 Parents and Community Members: Education Exploration Night – Next Wednesday, February 24th is our 3rd Annual Education Exploration Night. This night is used to highlight every class, club, sport, and function at Brandon High School. New this year will be the Chamber of Commerce and their Business Expo joining us for this night. Come and visit two great events in one awesome night. See the attached flyer for more details. Juniors – Brandon High School will be hosting free SAT preparation classes every Monday and Wednesday from 2:30 – 3:30 (with the exception of February 24th) in the Media Center starting Monday, February 22nd. These classes will greatly increase your student’s chances of being successful on this extremely important test. See Mrs. Smith or Mrs. McDonald if you have any questions. Juniors and Seniors: If you were unable to join us for our FAFSA and Financial Aid Presentations last week, please see the attached documents for FAFSA and Financial Aid information. Don’t hesitate to contact our Counseling Office for more details or to answer questions. Scheduling - All students will be scheduling for classes for next school year in the upcoming weeks. It is strongly recommended that you look at the Course of Study and have conversations with your student about what classes that they should be taking. This Course of Study can be found on the Counseling web page. BINGO – Brandon Middle School will be hosting a Bingo Night with cash prizes on February 26, 2016. Please see the attached flyer for more details. You must be 18 years or older to attend. Athletics - Please join us for our Snowcoming basketball games this Friday with game times at 4:00, 6:00 and 7:30. Please see the attached flyer for other events this week as well.
