Brandon High School News and Notes for the Week of June 11, 2018
This Week’s Calendar:
Monday – Full Day of School Tuesday – Full Day of School Wednesday – ½ Day of school (Exams for hours 1-2) Thursday – ½ Day of School (Exams for hours 3-4) Friday – ½ Day of School (Exams for hours 5-6) Free Food Service: The Brandon School District will be offering free lunch every day Monday – Friday to all students under the age of 18. This lunch will be served daily from 11:30 – 1:00 at the Sashabaw Meadows Community Center. See the attached flyer for more details. Summer Main Office Hours: Below are the summer hours for Brandon High School. For all Inquiries outside of these hours, contact the Brandon Board of Education Office. June 18th – 29th…………….. Monday – Friday (7:00 – 2:30) June 30th – July 22nd ……….. Building and Offices are Closed July 23rd – August 31st……... Monday – Friday (7:00 – 2:30) * The Counseling Office will be closed all summer and reopen the week of August 20th. Fall Sports: If you are planning on playing a Fall sport, mark your calendars now. Officially, the first day for football will be August 6th, while all other sports start August 8th. Please plan your vacations accordingly. Registration 2018-2019: Registration dates for next school year will be on August 21st for sophomores and seniors and on August 22nd for freshmen and juniors. You will be able to pick up your schedules on this day, get your pictures taken, buy your parking permit, and order yearbooks at a reduced rate. See you all there! Medications: If you have any medications on file at Brandon High School, please make sure that you come and get them before June 30th. Any medications left here over the summer will be disposed of. Summer School: Summer School registration extended through this week! We will be offering a wide variety of summer school classes this summer. Please contact Nick Ejak (nejak@brandon.k12.mi.us) if you have questions or would like to know if your student is behind in their credits. To sign up for summer school and get more information please click HERE. Summer school will run the weeks of June 18th, June 25th and July 9th Monday – Thursday.
