Brandon High School News and Notes for the Week of September 24, 2018
Yearbook: Order your 2018-2019 year book at a reduced price before September 30th. Please see the attached flyer and/or go to the BHS Yearbook Homepage for more information. Seniors: There are deadlines coming up for your pictures and senior recognition ads to get placed in the yearbook. Please see the attached flyer for more information. Homework Lab: Does your student need a place after school to do their homework, make up a quiz or test, or get some extra help / tutoring in any subject? We are opening our after school homework lab which will run Monday – Friday in the Media Center starting this week. See Mrs. Fryske for more information. Parent Portal: Did you know that you can access your student’s grades and attendance online? If you need a name and password please contact our pupil services office at 248-627-1866. FORD Test Drive For Your School: Come out on October 6th to Brandon High School and test drive a FORD model vehicle. Just for test driving, Randy Wise Ford will donate $20.00 to the team or club of your choice. See the attached flyer for details. Principal’s Council: Principal’s Council is designed for all parents to be able to meet with the high school administration on a monthly basis to hear what is going on at BHS, voice concerns, and to e a part of the school improvement process. Our first meeting will be on Monday, October 1st at 5:00. We hope to see you there. This week is Spirit Week: Monday – Mix Match Day Tuesday – Black and White Day Wednesday – Class Color Day Thursday – Super Hero / Villain Day Friday – Blue and White Day ½ Day of School: This Friday, September 28th we have a ½ day of school. School will release at 10:35.
