Dear Parents of Students with Special Needs, I hope you, too, are enjoying this wonderful spring weather! We are so thankful for so many things; students are growing, learning has continued on a variety of platforms and we look forward to more learning as we finish the school year. Attached are several opportunities for your learning and/or involvement. I hope you can take advantage of many of them. Summer Camps Suicide Prevention Parent Empowerment Apprenticeship Showcase Internet Security Supported Decision Making Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions I'd like express my deepest gratitude for the long involvement and dedication from our past Parent Advisory Representatives; Loraine Lucas and Terri Crnkovich. There creativeness and broad mindedness has supported so many of the initiatives we have incorporated in the recent past. Thanks for your many years of service representing Brandon at Oakland Schools. Our new Parent Representatives are Dana Hylton, Kelly McGraw, and Jennifer Hearns. They will be sharing the responsibilities to represent Brandon parents of children with special needs in the county. Thank you for volunteering for our district.
