Dear Parents of Students with Special Needs. There is so much going on in our community that I wanted to share it with you so you could take advantage of these activities. You'll find the following: Supporting Children with Mental Health Challenges Behavior is Communication Social Security Disability Open House OUCares Summer Camps and other activities Rethinking Guardianship Transition Women Talk Life Bowling ANNUAL DISABILITIES AWARENESS WEEK We will also be hosting our Annual Disabilities Awareness Week for our 4th, 7th and high school students the week of March 27-30. We need parent volunteers to help us share the exhibits with our students and help them experience the various challenges some our students face on a daily basis. We will be at BFIS on Monday and Tuesday and ITEC on Wednesday and Thursday. If you can volunteer a day, morning or afternoon or even just a couple of hours, please call Shawn at 248-627-1855.
