VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
DISABILITY AWARENESS WEEK March 27-30, 2017 Dear Parents, Family Members and Friends, During the week of March 27 – 30, Brandon Schools will be participating in a Disability Awareness Workshop. Monday, March 27, 2017 – Intermediate School 4th Grade Tuesday, March 28, 2017 – Intermediate School 4th Grade Wednesday, March 29, 2017 – ITEC, Middle School 7th Grade Thursday, March 30, 2017 – ITEC, High School Health & other classes With the help of our parents & volunteers the students will have the opportunity to experience what it is like to have different disabilities. The main goal of the Disability Awareness Workshop is to teach students sensitivity to others who are living with various disabilities. They will gain this knowledge through the different stations that will be set up where they will have a direct experience of the challenges that people face which many students take for granted. We need parents, grandparents, friends and neighbors to help us implement this amazing program for our students.
