News & Notes from BMS for October 29th, 2018
 
Non-Homestead Millage Information: The attached flyer has information about the Brandon School District Non-Homestead Millage vote on November 6th.

Picture Retakes: Picture retakes are on Tuesday, October 30th. Picture packets are available in our Student Services Office.

Half Day: Wednesday, October 31st is a half day of school and dismissal time is 10:55 AM.

BMS Tutoring: Starting on Tuesday, October 30th we are having free tutoring from 2:30-3:30 in the BMS Media Center. Mrs. Aaden, our math interventionist, will be available to help students.
 
November 6th: There is no school on Tuesday, November 6th due to Election Day.
 
End of Marking Period: The end of our 1st marking period is on Friday, November 2nd. Please check Parent Connect to monitor your student’s academic progress.
 
OCEF Can Food Drive: BMS is sponsoring a can food drive for OCEF. This will start on Monday, October 29th through Thursday, November 8th. Attached is a list of preferred items. This is a great opportunity to give back to our community.
 
BMS Dance: BMS is having a dance on Friday, November 2nd in our cafeteria form 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM. Tickets go on sale next week and the cost is $5.00 or the price is $7.00 if you purchase the ticket at the door. A good time will be had by all. Please use the following link if you would like to volunteer your time in order for our dance to be a success.
BMS Dance 
 
Homework Club: On Mondays and Wednesdays we have Homework Club from 2:40-3:10 with Mrs. Madacki. This is an opportunity for students to have a quiet place to do homework, study, or to get some help with organization.
